19 Sep Keynote Speakers Announced for Impact Convergence 2016
IMPCON 2016 opening keynote speaker Bernice Sanders Smoot believes that dollars should fund social change, not social programs. Since 1998, through her company Saint Wall Street, she has helped program leaders across America adopt proven peer and business strategies for cost-effective social change using Saint Wall Street’s proprietary Program Return on Investment™ (PROI) approach.
IMPCON 2016 keynote speaker John Tamihere is CEO of urban Māori organization Te Whānau o Waipareira and Commissioning Agency Te Pou Matakana, which are entrusted to distribute $42 million of New Zealand Government contracts annually. Mr. Tamihere, a former New Zealand Government Minister, is the New Zealand representative on the Board of Directors of Social Value International.
October 24-26, Impact Convergence 2016 (IMPCON): brilliant minds from all over the world – including Peru, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Dubai, Canada, Australia, South Africa, Japan & Russia – will converge at the Carter Center in Atlanta to envision a global roadmap to more effective impact measurement.
A series of presentations, panels, and workshops by speakers from the GIIN, Social Finance US, the Social Performance Task Force, B Lab, Third Sector Capital Partners, Brioxy, the Uptake Foundation, and others will explore the challenges and possibilities for effective, authentic impact measurement on a deeper level.
Following the event, steward organizations will facilitate ongoing cross-sector collaborations that advance the action agenda.
