Karim Harji’s Inspiration

karim-harji

Karim Harji is the Co-Founder and Director of Purpose Capital, with offices in Toronto and Montreal.  Karim’s initial experience in the area of impact measurement came from a microfinance impact assessment he conducted in Pakistan in 2004 through a Fellowship program. Since then, he’s been interested in how different forms of capital generate positive change, and in unpacking realized outcomes for investors, investees, and communities.

According to Karim, “Anton Simanowitz (who is also speaking at ImpCon) was a big influence on my initial work, and it has been great to see him continue to elevate thinking and practice in this area.
